I live outside of the US. So my sources for domestic news are the international news services, PBS on video and the New York Times on line. The New Yorker is an enjoyable supplement to the aforementioned sources.
After installation, it refused to make a backup image. Tried to uninstall and reinstall but the installation then gave me two options: Uninstall even though it was already uninstalled or Repair. Repair failed. I tried to do a complete uninstall with Revo Uninstaller but still got the Uninstall or Repair option when reinstalling. Tried to sign into my Acronis account and got an error code that I was to look up on the knowledge base. What? To sign into my own account? I finally did a complete uninstall by editing the Window 7 Registry and deleting all references to True Image and Acronis. But trying to reinstall from the disk still failed. I then downloaded the latest install version from Acronis website. That install failed too. Think I will fork over the big bucks and buy Macrium Reflect for four PCs. I have been using Reflect on Windows 7 machines for years with no problems. Recently upgraded to Reflect 6 on my new desktop running Windows 8.1 with no problems. Acronis True Image is not yet ready for prime time.
Works great! But wasn't sharp enough for the first time. But it start cutting good when I oil the blade properly. Let's see if it hold up for the next few months from now. I use it to cut my beard and side burns close to the skin then I use a Phillips Norelco Rota to give me a smoother finish. It can use to line give you a decent line up of your hair line and beard and side burns. It won't give you the closest shave but can aid with another trimmer.
My 9 y.o. Poodle has always had nasty, brown teeth. She should have been embarassed. And I tried many things, from toothpaste to chews to water additives to seaweed powder. All were highly touted but, except for veterinary teeth scraping, nothing worked. But I never gave up hunting for the magic bullet.
This looks like a fun game but a bit advanced for my four year old daughter. She has another dance game and can dance all day. This one is a little more than a two step, catch on. It does keep her entertained though.
I originally tried to purchase this product through the internet. As it installed the time for installation kept increasing - starting at 2 minutes and increasing to multiple days and by the way I do have high speed internet. After many emails, over five, and with minimal response from the company I decided to order what I thought was the CD only to find that it sends you back to the internet to download the software. Why on earth would one order an empty box????? Plus this box was more expensive than the original cost of going to McAfee and downloading. Very, very irritating. I am going to find another product.
