  • James Nabors - Stay away, poor glitchy product and worse customer service.

Purchased a Nest 1st gen thermostat to connect to my new HVAC system. The thermostat worked well for a few months, then a blue vertical line appeared on the display. After much time on hold I finally spoke to a customer service rep who had me box it up and return the thermostat and base, at Nest's expense, for a replacement. After installing the replacement thermostat, it worked well for a short time, then stopped activating the heater. I again contacted Nest and spent about 1.5 hours on the phone to then begin trouble shooting the thermostat. After switching wires and running the unit in reverse (cooling =heat), a determination was reached that the unit was defective. I again returned the unit for a replacement, again at Nest's expense, and again installed a replacement thermostat. The third replacement lasted less than three weeks before again not activating the HVAC unit. I again wasted about 1.5 hours on hold trying to reach customer service, again had to begin troubleshooting the system w/a customer service rep, and finally after almost 3 hours on the phone I was told my HVAC was incompatible w/the Nest Thermostat and I could return it for a full refund. I was also told Nest could not locate my original order (I purchased the Nest Thermostat directly from Nest) and I would have to send in the unit with base to be mailed a check for the refund amount and that a rep. would contact me when they received the 3rd defective unit. Almost a week after tracking showed the thermostat's arrival at Nest headquarters and receiving no contact from Nest, I called them and after about 45+ minutes on the phone I was told that it would be about four weeks before I received my refund. The representative stated a refund is the same as a rebate and would take the same amount of time as a rebate. I am unhappy with the Nest product and even more dissatisfied with their customer service. Prior to the second unit becoming defective I ordered a Nest Protect and promptly cancelled that order when I found my ordeal with Nest continuing. I would recommend not doing business with Nest for any products. I have spent a total of at least 5 hours of frustrating time on the phone and still am waiting for my refund.

  • Dharma - Love the product - especially since I have not seen ...

I had to get used to it........It really needs to get massaged into the fur to kill fleas. And then it does. It dries fast and my dog stopped itching right away. Licking was gone. But, had to repeat almost every day because so many fleas in my neighborhood. Love the product - especially since I have not seen any adverse reactions to it from my dog.

  • smart shopper - Mostly good, but a few odd songs

The first several songs on this CD are really good. They are many songs you'll hear on the radio, but then once you get to the 10th song, there are songs I've never heard of and I'm wondering how was it nominated for a Grammy? There's a song called Drank that's bizarre. But then there are radio hits, such as Roar, that are worth listening to if you like that kind of music.
