This is a Time-Saving application for us, even with only 3 employees. It handles doing payroll in a matter of minutes. It handles Liability calculations and payments in only a few minutes. Very helpful at the end of the year when processing W2's and 1099's.

I found this manual to be a cursory explanation of how to navigate Quickbooks 2012. When confronted with actual problems, the book offers no solutions nor alternate ways to search for what may have been erroneously entered into the software. Although the language is down to earth and sprinkled with humor, much more detailed instruction would have been appreciated by the neophyte user of Quickbooks.

I have had Quickbooks for many years and have used its enhanced payroll as well. I have been paying their annual subscription each year assuming they would give you a reasonable charge. I found out that they have raised their prices and are now at $295.00/year. However, purchasing the enhanced payroll on line results in a cost of about 147.00, or nearly 50% off their renewal. I called them and asked them to match what their retailers offer. They said they cannot price match their retailers and can only offer up to a 20% discount the subscription. So I declined my annual subscription.

Glad I saw this on CNET, , before I went out and bought it. Only 3 installs and then I have to buy it again?!? I am constantly tweaking my machine and that sometimes requires I reinstall the games too. Way to go EA! You just lost a customer who WAS really excited about purchasing this game.
